Meet Our Management Team
Susan O’Neil, CEO and Founder
Susan O’Neil established @WSP in 1998 with the intention of offering professional services that combined the two most cost-effective methods of web promotion: search engine optimization (SEO) and public relations. Building upon that base, the company constantly tested emerging media, holding them all to the demanding metrics of direct marketing. Today, @WSP integrates the digital campaigns of Clients in Search, Social and Mobile to ensure they receive every possible online advantage.
An early leader in search engine marketing, Susan presents regularly on the topic at conferences. Her book, Maximize Website Traffic, was one of the first guidebooks to successful SEO. She is the recipient of New Hampshire’s Business Excellence Award, the VT/NH Lone Pine Award, and is a member of the Women Presidents Association. A graduate of Chatham University, she earned her MA from Bennington College.
Susan serves on the Board of Directors for Media Power Youth (www.mediapoweryouth.org), a media literacy program for educators, parents and children so that children can learn how to use media in ways that contribute to their health and safety. She is also active in the TechWomen/TechGirls initiative of the New Hampshire High Tech Council, which helps New Hampshire’s girls grow great interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Leslie Lewis, Director of Search Marketing
As Director of Paid Search, Leslie Lewis leads the agency’s efforts in all online marketing, overseeing campaign management and strategy for search, social and mobile media buys. She also manages the company’s Peterborough, NH office.
Previous to joining @Website Publicity in 2007, Leslie was a Project Manager for a Web technology firm and, before that, served as Managing Editor for various national print magazines, such as Men’s Journal, Self and Premiere Magazine.
As part of her industry and community interests, Leslie is active in trade organizations such as the VT/NH Marketing Group and the National Etailing and Mail Order Association (NEMOA), as well as serving on the Budget Committee for the Town of Peterborough and on the Board of the Cornucopia Project.
John Deming, Director of Business Development
John leads the agency’s efforts in business development, including client acquisition efforts, overseeing development of new services and forging strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining @Website Publicity, John worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Seventh Generation where his responsibilities included social media advertising analytics and website analytics, remarketing display ads, email marketing and search engine marketing. Other areas of expertise are Amazon search marketing and optimization, marketing database technologies, and video advertising. Earlier, John was a Digital Marketing Manager at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, now called Keurig Green Mountain, where he was in charge of email marketing and search engine optimization (SEO).
John has a special interest in content creation and curation using video and photos and will lead the effort to bring innovative video production services and products to WSP clients. A popular speaker and presenter, John can be found in front of conference halls at national marketing conferences, but also particularly enjoys speaking gigs closer to home: Vermont, New Hampshire and Montreal.
